VODUDAHUE is a project of Fundación Alerce 3000, set in a majestic fjord–estuary of unparalleled beauty. The sublime emerges in the meeting of granite outcrops, millennia-old alerce trees, the precise hand of a Chilote carpenter, the keen eye of a scientist, the mountaineers’ respect for nature, and the inhabitants’ love for their land.

Our project seeks to preserve, value, and share the richness of this uniquely protected place: the Vodudahue Valley.

At the heart of the Vodudahue Project, the Research Library is where science, territory, and conservation converge.
Here you will find research papers, theses, and professional training reports covering biodiversity, ecological restoration, environmental education, and applied forestry, all developed in one of Patagonia’s most pristine landscapes.

This repository is designed for researchers, students, and professionals seeking reliable, up-to-date information for academic projects or fieldwork. Each document reflects Fundación Alerce 3000’s commitment to generating and sharing scientific knowledge, contributing to the responsible and sustainable management of the territory.

At the same time, it is an open invitation to collaborate, learn, and contribute to the development of strategies that ensure a balance between conservation, education, and sustainable development.
